Aslans Top Surgery Fund

Hi my name is Aslan, I am 23 and I am a transmasculine nonbinary individual on HRT (Testosterone) looking to get Top Surgery in the next 2 years.

Unfortunately as most of us know, we only have one surgeon in WA so I will be waiting until February 2024 for my consultation.

I have already put myself down but at this rate it is looking like I wont get it until 2025.

I am hoping to get shortlisted next year so I can get surgery before my 25th birthday but I can only do this if I am in the right finacial situation.

First step will be health insurance which at the moment Im unable to afford.

After I have the stable savings to afford health insurance, the rest of the money will help cover the procedure which can be anywhere between 8-13k.

I am of course looking at different options like using my super but that gets heavily taxed - anything that can be spares in the meantime will be absolutely treasured and life saving.
