Hi, I'm Matt and I am setting up a GoFundMe for the family of one of my good friends and colleagues, Mario Delgadillo. Mario died very unexpectedly of a heart attack yesterday, 1/24/22 and all that knew him are shocked and devastated. His family knew him as an amazing husband and father, and I knew him during his time in the solar business over the last 10+ years as a true teammate. Mario and I truly cut our teeth together building commercial solar systems, have been working tirelessly together across 3 different companies, and I truly had the feeling that we would both be at 120 mph for the next 30+ years together! Mario always quickly gained respect from the guys in the field, even from the young guys just starting out, always put the company first, and was filled with and emanated positive energy. He was VERY persistent but in a gentle and encouraging kind of way and always found a way to overcome obstacles and get things done. People wanted to be like him is the bottom line, he was a true role model and leader to me and many others that he has worked with and I'm sure to his family as well!

We'd like to show our support to Becky Delgadillo and her family during this tough time for them as there was no life insurance policy in place, and there are many unforeseen expenses for them. The family is understandably shocked by this loss and, unfortunately, not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss like this adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a service or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

Anything you can do to help Becky and her family during this time of heartbreak and recovery is greatly appreciated.

Mario will be missed yet never forgotten and his legacy will live on in his children and in everyone that has had the great pleasure of knowing him in this life
