Save Bud's Life Help treat his Oral Tumor

Hi my name is Stephanie and I'm fundraising on behalf of our beloved cat Bud who has a very large mass growing inside his mouth.

Bud came to us March 17th 2022 as a foster cat after his owner passed away .

He was one of over 100 foster cats that had came through our home over the years.

One that we chose to adopt because he fit in so perfectly with our pack and after everything he had been through in his short life, moving him again was something we couldn't do. So in August of 2022 , we officially adopted him.

He has been the sweetest little guy and the most perfect gentleman. He has spent the last 3 years never more than a foot away from my husband and I .

On April 12th we noticed a very small lump on our Boy's lip. We called the vet and made an appointment . Bud was acting a little off, but nothing that seemed to indicate it was an emergency, we kept a very close eye on him while waiting for his appointment 4 days later .

During that appointment, upon examination of his oral cavity, a very large tumor growing on the inside of Bud's mouth was observed . It had grown so quick and so aggressively in just days.

Our amazing vet team took him immediately into the back where he was sedated and a sample was removed for a biopsy.

We are dreading the results, which should be in any day now.

Once the results are in, a treatment plan will be made. He is on Buprenorphine to keep him comfortable while we wait for answers.

Unfortunately it could not have came at a worse time financially for us.

As embarassing it is to disclose my pitiful financial position, I feel I have to do all I can to help Bud, which means swallowing my pride in order to ask for help. Despite working full- time,

I was not accepted for a loan, my credit cards are maxed out and my bank account is empty due to extensive uncovered dental work I had completed during the last two months, I have now exhausted my $1200.00 overdraft to pay the previous vet bill.

I am afraid of what comes next.

I have applied to every job ad I qualify for, desperate to take on a Second job to keep fighting for Bud, even though I already work full time , but I will do what it takes.

My husband is on permant disability , but he is trying to find ways to help.

I cry myself to sleep worrying about Bud and how we are going to be able to move forward .

I know times are tough for everyone, I promised Bud we would do anything to help him and swallowing my pride was one of them.
