Hi Everyone! We are looking to raise funds, awareness and prayers.  As some of you may know our little guy Rory has a debilitating eye condition called Nystagmus that he has had since birth. Currently he is struggling tremendously with controlling the movement of his eyes. He has just undergone another MRI of his brain and was diagnosed with Oscillopsia on top of the Nystagmus. There is a new Nystagmus procedure out called the Augmented Sinskey Extirpation Procedure to take place in Irvine California by Dr. Lingua.  Rory's current vision acuity is 20/80 , 20/100 with glasses. His eye movements are worsening and creating the brain to not register to the the eye muscle causing him to have episodes of vertigo. This new procedure we are seeking is shown to slow the Nystagmus by 30-100% by detaching certain eye muscles and therefore improving his vision by stabilizing his eyes.  Rory has had a prior eye surgey when he was 2 years old and although it improved his eye movements tremendously, his vision has remained terrible. He struggles with focusing at school and home, he has diffuclty walking and with balance. 
He currently cannot participate in P.E. at school and every day life tasks that we take for granted are a constant battle for Rory.  

With all the past and upcoming Doctors visits, the new Nystagmus surgery in California by Dr. Lingua, travel expenses, time off without pay and the cost for the surgery percentage not covered by the Insurance. We have had friends and family ask what they can do to help Rory.
