Hello,
My name is Bianca Lorenz and I work at Madison Park Academy.
We are currently raising money for two students at Madison Park Academy in East Oakland after their family lost their belongings and home in a fire. There were 10 people living at the residence and have all been displaced due to the fire.
Thankfully everyone is safe, but they are in need of support.
Money raised here will support this family replenish items like (but not limited to):
- Food
- A place to stay right now
- Clothes
- Toiletries
- Etc.
Mario is a junior at MPA who is involved in MPA's mentoring program in which he mentors 6th and 7th graders, he has logged over 100 hours in volunteer service through BuildOn, and only has positive appreciations and relationships with his teachers and staff here.
Marian is sophomore at MPA who is an innovative person with good analytic skills and supportive family member. According to Mario, out of all of the kids in the family, Marian always finds a solution to the problems they face and he is empathetic.
We are lucky to have Mario and Marian as students at MPA. We want to help support them through this time and we would appreciate any support you can offer.
