My name is Brad Tassainer I live in Mesa, Az, I belong to the Facebook group, Australian Shepherd Lovers (ASL) . On 04/15/2015 while on facebook, I came across a post by Lynn Martin, another ASL group member, this is what it said.
"My home burned down today while I was not there. I lost my precious Shelby who is my picture on Facebook. I also lost my 14 3/4 year old Shadow. My 5 year old rowdy and chili 9 all Aussies and a Pom . My heart is shattered and I am numb."
I could not imagine how I would feel in this situation, I had to help, I myself do not know Lynn Martin, I did notice that she lived in Superior, Az, about 50 miles from where I live in Mesa.
The ASL group members are awesome, whenever one of the members has a loss of a pet or something tragic happens, the ASL members are always posting kind words to help that person get through their loss.
I listen to a morning radio show on 98kupd, Phoenix, the show had a story about the gofundme program that help people like Lynn Martin to raise money via the internet, I thought that this is a way I can help, so with the help of another ASL member Susan Forrester we setup a gofundme account in Lynn Martins name. At first Lynn thought it was a hoax because she was not contacted by me about the gofundme account that I had set up, I just set it up without Lynn knowing anything about it, Susan mentioned to me that we should contact Lynn to let her know what was going on. I thought that if enough money was donated that Lynn could use the money to by new clothes or other things that she had lost in the fire. Lyn can withdraw The funds donated useing wepay credit card or a deposit into a personal bank account. We wish Lynn Martin the best in the future.
