Hi everyone, I am Cheryl Tuckers daughter, Leanne. Very recently my mom had a total hip revision surgery. The surgery didn't quite go as planned, as her femur was fractured while trying to get the new implant in. To help make it sturdy the surgeon put in a metal plate and screws. Recovery for that, from the beginning, was quite difficult. Several days later my mom was rushed to emergency surgery to remove scar tissue that had wrapped around her colon. That surgery was difficult and very arduous, but it ended up in the best scenario we could have imagined with none of her colon being removed. Now we are facing a dangerous bacteria that has settled into the incision on her stomach. They have also found blood clots in her right lung and we are currently trying to figure out what is wrong with her heart as it seems to have a murmur.  My mom is such a trooper and is trusting God for a full recovery, however work will not be an option for a long while. My dad has been with her every day in the hospital helping her, being an advocate for her and doing everything he possibly can to care for her. She, so far, has been in the hospital three weeks and doesn't appear to be leaving anytime soon. After she does get out, she will be entering a Rehab facility to continue her physical therapy. With both of my parents not working it is a very difficult time. Without much income, due to not working, the bills will start pilling up. Also with the amount of time she has spent in the hospital the medicals bills will surely be phenomenal. Any help, any amount would be so very helpful. Every penny adds up and can really help with some of these unforeseen expenses.  Please, if you feel lead, help us. Thank you.
