This gfm was started in honor of Marcos Velasquez.

There’s no amount of words to describe the affect he had on every person he met. No matter what heaviness he was holding onto, he held it back and smiled at everyone and made sure everyone around him was good. Random pats on the back, playful fights in the kitchen with his coworkers who were family, jokes while putting out orders in the kitchen, all moments that were pieces of his heart that he shared with us all. Mental battles and sadness that couldn’t be shared he’d offer to share it. Marcos didn’t deserve to hold onto all the pain that he stored away, and sometimes that pain will overshadow your light and it can be a battle too difficult to overcome alone. Marcos will be remembered as a young man who strived for protecting his family and working hard to make sure everyone in his circle came out okay. This kid deserved so much more life and love than what was given to him, and if we could all honor him and come together to learn to love each other more, and share a heart more, tragedies like this won’t happen as often. So this go fund me is to help extend his support for his family and if you could please, share it with your friends, family, social media.
