Update…I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I’d open a gofundme. But when you need help and feel it’s worthy, it happens.

This is my/our story.

Christian and I started our fertility journey a little over a year ago. At the beginning we didn’t have any kind of insurance that covers infertility, so we depleted our entire savings of thousands of dollars, and this was all just testing, no treatment. Christian started a new job, and once his insurance kicked in, we did get some coverage. Unfortunately it’s not enough.

We have had 4, unsuccessful, IUI’s and 1 unsuccessful round of IVF. Talk about heartbreaking. We are preparing for a second round of IVF, beginning in the new year. 

Though we do have some coverage it doesn’t cover everything and there is still a very large out-of-pocket expense.

Due to my age, I have extra steps that I must take. These steps are not covered by insurance and a lot of my needed meds are not either. “Insurance Sucks”!

This is extremely hard, and kind of embarrassing, to be putting this out there for all to see. Having a child with my forever love is the most desired miracle I have. The amount of stress and anxiety this has caused, and heartbreak with each negative result, I’ve sucked up my pride. We’re asking for your help. Every penny will go towards our treatment and meds. If there would be any money left over, it will be donated to an infertility fund.
