**update 2.0** what a wonderful collective contribution from so many people that love Tyra, still flabbergasted by this outpouring of support. It’s been seven days since the accident and I can’t believe how much this has grown. Tyra’s funeral services will be available to those unable to attend to watch on zoom. Thanks again for this love shown for Tyra and her beloved family at this impossible time.

*UPDATE* Isaac has been discharged from the hospital and is home with his Dad and Brennan. I am blown away by the generosity given through this fundraiser. The initial goal to help them with formula and a meal service, was met within an hour. Now we hope to continue to raise funds for child care and other necessities in the coming months. Thank you all for your support and continuing to help this beautiful family through such a difficult time.
Thursday June 2 Tyra (Salisbury) Anderson was in a fatal car accident. Her two sons (2.5 years and 10 months) were with her in the car, her infant was LifeFlighted to nearby children’s hospital and is in stable condition, while her toddler was remarkably only bruised. Her beloved husband Andrew was not in the car.
Tyra was the kind of person that could make anyone feel accepted and heard. She radiated sunshine and love. As her husband and sons try to adjust to life without her, this fundraiser has been started to give assistance in this time of grief. We hope to raise enough to do a few months of prepared meals to help meet the Anderson family’s physical needs as well as take care of unexpected formula costs as Isaac was still nursing.
Tyra has been my best friend for over 25 years and was a wonderful friend to anyone that needed one. Her smiles came easy, her care and concern were genuine, and her kindness was unmatched. There was always a sunny side of situations when she was around. Shocked as I am by this news, I know that nothing would make her happier than knowing her boys are all cared for this way and have one thing taken off of Andrew’s plate.
