We have traveled the Bahamas extensively for over 20 + years, and love the barrier islands of the Abacos, especially Elbow Cay. We weathered Dorian safely on our yacht Lucky Dog in Hurricane Hole Marina in Nassau.
We have made many of friends over the years and adore the people of these idyllic islands. Our hearts are broken and are desperate to assist them.
We have the vessel and desire to help. We need funds for fuel and needed supplies.
We have liased with agency's on the ground to purchase what they require, and navigate to them as soon as conditions allow.
Please help a little if you can. They have nothing left. Those of us who live or have lived in a hurricane zone just keep in mind this could be you.
