My name is Katie, and I’m the mom of a brave and beautiful 6-year-old girl named Rylie. She was born weighing just one pound and has fought for every milestone in her life with so much strength and joy. Recently, she underwent a major surgery to help improve her mobility and give her the best chance possible at learning how to walk someday.

This procedure means a long hospital stay along with daily physical and occupational therapy. While I am here full-time caring for her, I also have two older children at home who still need me — and this has made it impossible to work right now. Between food, gas back and forth from the hospital, hospital parking fees, and keeping up with regular household bills, things have become extremely tight.

I am doing everything I can to be present for all three of my children during this difficult season, but I have reached a point where I need to ask for help. Any donation — big or small — will go directly toward supporting Rylie’s hospital stay and our family’s basic necessities so I can continue to take care of her without worrying how we will make it week to week.
