On April 7th, around 8:00 am Rylie and her boyfriend Angel were heading westbound on the highway east of Sierra Madre Road on their way to Santa Maria where Angel had to pick up supplies for his job. At that time Angel was sleeping and Rylie was driving when their Chevrolet work truck crossed into the eastbound lanes and onto the shoulder of the road. After it crossed lanes part of the truck hit a guardrail before going down the hillside where it rolled 200 feet over the side of a bridge. Angel woke up at some point of the crash and tried to administer CPR on Rylie but was unsuccessful due to his injuries and her condition. Rylie was pronounced dead at the scene, while Angel suffered from major injuries including a broken leg, shattered his kneecap into 3, and also broke his hip. Angel is expected to make a full recovery in time with physical therapy. Losing Rylie was a tragedy, she will not be forgotten, she had a sparkle that everyone will remember. Rylie was the best person to be around, she never wanted anyone to be sad and always tried to cheer them up. Rylie was the life of the party, and an easy person to connect with. She was a beautiful soul that was taken from us too soon, so young with so much life left to live.

Rylie was a strong girl mentally. She made what she had work. Rylie was always okay with what was going on around her. She had a rough life, her mom Danielle left her and siblings when she was just 9 years old and her dad passed away the next year in 2014. Because of the circumstances Rylie experienced many unimaginable obstacles in life, yet she overcame all of them. Rylies always had this smile on her face that was just so contagious, and she never let her weaknesses show. Rylie is leaving behind many people who love her very much. She had two brothers Ricky and Casey and her sister Emily as while as her step siblings Alivia and Vincent that loved growing up with her. Her best friend Kaylee adored rylie and took her in as her sister. Her grandmother Leslie, her step mother Racheal, and her uncle Michael loved rylie very much. Angel, her boyfriend and Rylie were always finding ways to stay together, through everything they went through. Rylie would say “we understand each other” while talking about Angel. She found love and comfort with him, and she gained love from Angel’s family as well. Angel’s mother Maria says “She became the daughter I didn’t have”. Rylie lived with her grandmother Leslie several years before this incident happened after her father Richard passed away. Her mom Danielle never tried to reconnect with her or her siblings. Recently her grandma Leslie was diagnosed with cancer this past october 2022, and is still in the process of radiation therapy. Asking for help is the last thing this family wants to do.

UPDATE: While writing this we were unaware that Rylies biological mother is next in kin. she has taken control of Rylies memorial services. Donations to this go fund me will still be used for memorial services and plaque done without Rylies body.
