Rylee’s second surgery

My name is Kasey and I’m raising funds for my 6 year old rescue dog, Rylee. I adopted Rylee from a local rescue shelter in 2016. She’s truly been the most amazing companion that loves all people, children and other animals (she’s even gentle and patient with her 18 year old cat sister).

Rylee has been through a lot this past year. In April 2022, she tore the ACL in her left leg. Rylee underwent TPLO surgery to correct the tear, but recovery has been a 7+ month journey. This has been rough on her with a strict diet, limited exercise, pain, rehabilitation/therapy as well as on me financially. I’ve spent $6,000 already on x-days, surgery, vet visits, medications, diet food, and physical therapy. Unfortunately if a dog tears the ACL in one leg they are high risk for injury in the other.

On December 18th, Rylee tore the ACL in her right leg - not yet fully healed from the first surgery. She now has to undergo the same surgery on the right leg and begin the recovery process. The vet bills have become overwhelming and I’m raising money so that Rylee can live the happiest, healthiest and longest life possible. I hope that with your help Rylee will soon be able to run at the dog park and swim with her dog friends, just like before.
