On December 19, 2016, our precious 5 year old granddaughter, Rylee, was taken to the emergency room complaining of a headache and being generally lethargic. Through the course of testing at the local hospital, a brain tumor was discovered and Rylee was then transported to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL. The following morning, Rylee was rushed into surgery to remove the malignant tumor called Medulloblastoma on her brain stem. She also had a port put in place to enable her to receive long term treatment.
The surgery was a success but Rylee has a long road to recovery and will need chemotherapy and radiation treatments. This is a lot for a five-year-old little girl to have to go through and she needs her Daddy by her side, which is where he’s been and will continue to be, with your help. He is self employed and unable to work so that he can be there for his daughter. Upon being released from the hospital, Rylee will need continuous care so that she can continue to receive treatment and your help is greatly needed.
