Ryker’s Surgery Journey!

Donation protected
Hello! We are fundraising money to help our sweet Ryker be able to walk and function more independently.

For those that don’t know Ryker, he is a sweet four year old who had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 2 years old. This has affected his ability to walk and function as a typical child would. Although very independent, with all things considered, Ryker would LOVE to be able to move around on his own legs. We didn’t think this was possible until we were introduced to a surgery called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR). The surgeon would go into Rykers spine and cut certain nerves that cause Ryker to have elevated tone in his legs that restrict him from walking. This will be taking place at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

This surgery does require a long hospital stay, so our family would be in Seattle for potentially over a month. The funds collected would go towards housing in Seattle, travel (my husband, Sean, would be staying home so he can continue working and will visit on the weekends), and other medical needs, should they arise.

We are so thankful for your help in Rykers journey! Whether that be through donation or sharing with friends and family who might be able to guide us with accommodations in Seattle. We appreciate everything!
