Ryker's Hold on to Hope for Cache Creek
Donation protected
As many know, Ryker is an extraordinary dog and a local legend. He is sweet, playful, a gentle giant, and his eyes speak to everyone's hearts. In many ways, Ryker is a blessing to his forever family. Without Cache Creek, Ryker might have never found his permanent home and instead been euthanized because he had been in shelters for almost FOUR years.

At seven months old, he was found on the streets. Alsip Nursery's Cache Creek agreed to save Ryker. Even after 3.7 years in their shelter, Cache Creek continued hoping he would one day find his forever home. While at Cache Creek, Ryker stole the hearts of many with his sweet kisses and loving manner. As people became familiar with his story, they began to visit Ryker regularly, posted Ryker's updates on social media, and he even made it into the Patch Local News for the surrounding towns, Fox 32 News, and WBBM News Radio.

If you meet Ryker, you will know why he melted so many hearts.
The real hero of this story is Cache Creek. Not only did they never give up on Ryker's future, but they also loved him with all their hearts. They, indeed, were Ryker's first family. As Ryker's forever family, we could not ask for more from the wonderful staff at Cache Creek. Cache Creek can't keep hope for all of their residents without support from the surrounding communities. They recently saved the lives of several more dogs and now have over $9000 in medical bills. As a thank you to Cache Creek, Ryker and his new family would love to help ease the financial stress for this compassionate shelter and bring hope to other animals in need and their future families. We ask that you donate $5, or whatever you can, to Cache Creek's fund to help give more dogs hope of finding their forever home.
