Ryker is a spunky, loving, energetic 5 year old who has been through a lot of medical appointments after losing most of his vision in a short amount of time. Ryker, who is the youngest child to Lynn and Stephanie Swanson, was diagnosed with  Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). This is a very rare condition and is almost unheard of in children his age. There is no cure for LHON at this time but Ryker's doctors did suggest a medication for him that is not covered by his insurance. Jaxx, Steph and Lynn’s oldest son, has started to show signs of LHON but in a different way; through tremors and heart complications! Jaxx is also on this medication that is not covered by insurance. Ryker's parents are hard working people who give everything they have to anyone who needs help and now they need people to help them with the medical expenses. Any little bit helps!
