Ryker Cahill

Donation protected
Ryker was born on the 30th of June 2022 and then ripped from this world and our hearts on the 6th of January 2024.

On the 6th of January 2024 Ryker went down for a nap in his cot like he had done many times before.
He woke up and called out “Hello!” to let his loving parents Kirsty and Aidan know he was ready to run around and play with his best puppy friends he had grown up alongside.
His father Aidan arrived to his cot a minute later and Ryker was face down in his cot with his little body gone stiff.

What ensued is a parents worst nightmare.

Kirsty and Aidan’s neighbours performed CPR until the paramedics and critical team arrived. The paramedics took over and worked on him for sometime. His time of death had then been called a short while after.

Kirsty and Aidan had just been through house and property damage caused by Cyclone jasper and have now lost their little boy to the heavens.

The light of their lives and sparkle in their eyes. Now stricken with the heaviest of hearts and a void that cannot ever be replaced.

Ryker brought so much joy to everyone that met him. Even strangers that he always smiled at cheekily.

Kirsty, Aidan and family have a very long journey ahead of them to grieve their little darling heart.

With family and friends at their side the last thing they need worry for is funeral and memorial plaque expenses.

This family has been through the darkest of days in the last couple of months and anything you donate will go to ensuring Ryker can see how loved he was from the heavens above.

For 18 months he graced us with his presence only to be taken way too soon in such a tragic and unexpected way.

We miss you so much already little man.

Thank you to all whom have donated so far.

Rykers funeral was held 17/01/2024.

All donations have gone to his funeral and any donations from this date will go to his memorial items and to start Rykers garden memorial at his family home in Kuranda.

Kirsty has given a statement as follows. “We cannot thank everyone enough, the love and support we have received is amazing”.
