My heart surgery

I have atrioventricular blockage of the third degree. That means the signals to create a heart beat do not send properly, so my heart is running off a backup system to keep it beating. This condition is progressive and over the past few months it has worsened. I'm so fatigued I connot properly work, do daily activities, or even regularly make it to school. After talking to my doctor a few days ago we decided to go forward with the surgery. He said I shall be scheduled in the next couple weeks to a month. I will be receiving a pacemaker. This surgery is NOT ELECTIVE! I was told that without this surgery I will likely not make it past 20. I am currently 18 and my family and I cannot afford this surgery without likely going into extreme debt. From my research I have found this can cost anywhere from 20,000- 70,000 US dollars.
