Hello! My name is Christina, & my mom Claire, has owned The Rye Country Store for over 35 years. It’s a town favorite, as some of our customers have been around since opening! My mom has put her entire heart in her business, and works 7 days a week to make it what it has become. She has so many committed employees that have worked for her for years, making our team a family. 

Unfortunately, Hurricane Ida destroyed her entire kitchen. It has to be rebuilt from the ground up. This is heart breaking to not only our customers, but to me as her daughter, and most importantly- my mom. The Rye Country Store is her life and her cherished customers can speak on behalf of her devotion. 

In the blink of an eye, she lost it all. She would give the shoes off her feet to someone that needed them and now she’s the one who needs help. She’s trying to keep her loyal employees but unfortunately there’s no money coming in right now.
