Hi there,
I’m organising this fundraiser for my mate Rye Carlyon.
Rye is one of seven junior men selected to represent Australia in the 2024 UCI Downhill mountain bike World Championships in Andorra at the end of August.
Rye has been in Europe for the last few months racing as a privateer in the first 5 UCI downhill World Cups of the season and three IXS cups.
Unfortunately, whilst training in Morzine, Rye had a big crash at speed, hitting a tree and completely destroying his bike and helmet.
The awesome crew at Chainbrain were able to find him a replacement bike and get it sent over to him from Australia, thank you Scott.
Despite the help, the cost of replacing his bike has put a massive dint in his racing budget and I want to raise some funds to help him stay on track and do really well at the World Championships.
