On Saturday, August 1st, our community lost three young members in a traffic accident just outside of Benson, IL.
Lost in the accident were:
Morgan Ryder, 20, Gridley, a graduate of El Paso-Gridley High School.
She was enrolled in the nursing school at Millikin University.
Jared Seggerman, 19, of Minonk, a graduate of Fieldcrest
Seth Unruh, 19, of Pattonsburg, a graduate of Fieldcrest
Both of the young men were apprentices in local electrical and labor unions.
Highway Chevrolet Buick GMC will be taking donations to help all three families get through this difficult time. You can either donate in person at the dealership, or through this GoFundMe account. Highway will match all donations up to a total of 5,000.00 and will divide the proceeds between all three families. Skip Harmon, the Managing Partner of Highway, will manage the account.
