Ryder’s Journey to Recovery

Hi, my name is Shayla Cook I am April Gatton’s coworker at Clara Barton. April is a nurse who has two beautiful children Lynex and Ryder. On March 17th Ryder was life flighted to Children’s Mercy with seizures. He was in ICU for 2 weeks and finally got the news that he could be extubated. He was able to eat and play some video games on 4/2 which was such an exciting and giant step for him! He had his favorite meal Buffalo Wild Wings! Unfortunately today took another step backwards because Ryder started to have seizures again. They have moved him back to the ICU. April and Ryders journey at Children’s Mercy has been long and right now he will need to stay there for a while longer. Please if you could help April and her family out with providing any funds to help her through this time it would be a blessing! Also please send as many prayers for Mr. Ryder he could sure use them!!
