On May 20, Ryder was helping his dad in the garage when a very large toolbox crushed his hand. Ryder was taken to Riverside Hospital and it was determined he needed to be transported via ambulance to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. He will be undergoing hand surgery today to repair tendons and bone structure in his left hand. Both of his parents, Jessie and Daniel Guimond, are currently staying at the hospital with Ryder. I’ve started this campaign as an effort to off set some cost of the medical bills the family will incur.
