On Sunday, June 8th, around 10:30 am, my nephew Ryder choked on a grape and was rushed to Washington Hospital. They did what they could to make him stable; they ended up hooking him up to a vent, and after he was stable enough, they sent him over to the ICU at Children's. There, he was induced into a medical coma to try and stop all the damage that is going on.

He's also been having a lot of epileptic seizures, so they've put him on an experimental machine called the "Arctic Sun." It cools his body and tries to help with any damage. We're all praying that everything goes well and he'll be able to come home soon.

He's not in good shape, and along with all the prayers, my brother and his little family need all the help they can get. Anything helps. They especially need help with rent, car payments, and a few other expenses. Please, even a little goes a long way!
