Ryder is my best friend’s 15 year old son who is suffering from Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma. He is one of the sweetest kids you’ll ever meet. Earlier this year he had a paravertebral mass on his lower spine between his T10 and T12 vertebrae. It was removed during surgery July 28, 2025. Unfortunately when the pathology came back on the mass, sarcoma cells were found. His cancer is very rare and does not respond well to chemotherapy. Ryder’s treatment requires proton radiation which begins October 14, 2025. He will have approximately 31 treatments. As expected the cost for such treatment is very high even with good insurance.

I am hoping to help offset some of the cost and stress by setting up this GoFundMe for Deborah and Steve (his parents). Please help me help them, so they can focus 100% on Ryder and what he needs. The money raised will go towards medical bills to cover his treatment, future scans (MRIs, CT, PET), follow up appointment co-pays, medications, etc.
