Rydah’s Battle

Hi everyone, my name is Joanne Williamson. I am the owner of the dance studio JWDA located in the Sutherland Shire. Our little dancer Rydah was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Devastating news.

Rydah has just started her treatment and has a long journey ahead. Her mum Jaya, who runs her own business, is now unable to work as her daughter requires full time care for many months ahead.

One day little Rydah was at dancing, the next morning she was transferred to Sydney Children’s Oncology Ward. How quickly our lives can change.

Hopefully our dance community, family and friends can come together and help this little dancer battle the fight of her life!
