This is one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I don't have the luxury of pride right now. I feel guilty asking for help, when I don't really have a huge issue. My husband and I are divorcing. I have lined up a job, but I won't get my first check for awhile. I've got bills piling up. Just the regular utility bills and rent and medicine (I have medicaid, but some things aren't covered) and stuff like food for me and my pets. And gas for my car, since my new job is a delivery job. I am in the process of selling whatever possessions I can, as well as contacting local charities. My goal is for roughly two months' worth of bills, since I've not yet paid some of the bills that were due in March. Also included is the cost of divorce. Please, if there is anything you can do to help, I'll be so grateful. I'd sell my car, but as I said, my job is a delivery job, so that's not possible. This is seriously killing me to do, but I need money as quickly as possible. Within the next few days, I'll need at least $425 to cover insurance and another bill that is past due with a deadline of Friday. I am doing this because I figure if most of the people I know can even give me $10, it'll at least give me enough to survive on until I get my first check. And I don't know what else to do.
