Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my brother in law, Ryan Vega. On the night of Friday Sept 30th, Ryan was involved in a brazen attack while showing a home to a potential buyer. 

Unfortunately, the son of the current tenant at the rental home stabbed him several times in the throat and attempted to kill him. Thankfully no vocal cords were damaged but there was a cut on his trachea area so surgery was required immediately. The machine is breathing for him now until he heals. He will later need surgery again to remove the tube. He will then be monitored to try to breathe and eat on his own again. He was taken to a hospital in Las Vegas but due to security reasons, we cannot disclose where he is hospitalized. He is in the ICU stabilized at the moment.

Our #1 goal is for Ryan to get through this physically, spiritually and emotionally. We ask for positive thoughts at this time...  light a candle, say a prayer, and if you're able -- please donate any monetary value you can spare. All monies raised will go towards Ryan's out of pocket expenses for hospital and rehabilitation expenses not covered by his insurance.
