On July 18th, Ryan collapsed at home. CPR was performed until an ambulance would arrive and medical professionals were able to take over and rush him to the hospital. There it was discovered that not only did he have a blood clot under his heart, but he had suffered a major heart attack. The left side was 100% blocked and the right 85%. Shortly after his arrival to Peconic Bay, he was airlifted to Southside Hospital. 24 hours of Therapeutic Hypothermia later and we are still waiting to see what kind of damage was done to his brain and hoping he wakes of soon. He is only 36 years old.
