Ryan’s New Chapter

Ryan Lee Riner Jr. is a young man who loves playing guitar and boxing. He's passionate about his faith and firmly believes that God will see him through—no matter what comes his way.

Recently, Ryan was involved in a devastating and life changing car accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The following morning, he underwent a seven-hour spinal surgery to remove vertebrae and bone fragments off the spinal cord. They placed 6 thoracic rods and 6 lumbar rods to realign his spine. He is currently paralyzed from the waist down from this accident and has no health insurance.

Ryan has a long road ahead of him and it is crucial that Ryan receives the best possible care and support for his recovery. In addition to the high cost of emergency medical treatment, Ryan will need ongoing rehabilitation, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Significant home modifications will also be required to help him adapt to a new way of life and maintain as much independence and comfort as possible.

Despite the severity of his injuries and the pain he’s enduring, Ryan remains positive and determined to heal. His resilience and faith continue to inspire us every day.
