For those of you who don’t know yet, on July 29th my brother Ryan Velazquez was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer stage 2A of 3.
He has gone through surgery to remove tumors and lymph nodes, hospital stays, medications and four weeks of intense chemotherapy from 8 am to 5pm. On December 6th Ryan will go to Madison Wisconsin to schedule another worrisome surgery to remove a mass in his stomach.
Due to Ryan’s condition he has been unable to work since the time he was diagnosed and probably will not be able to return to work until he wins his fight and is able to have the strength to go back to his duties.
Ryan has three beautiful girls, Aubree who is 14 years old, Annabelle who is 4 years old and Rosie who is 3 years old. The money that is donated will not only help Ryan focus on beating cancer but it will also help with monthly bills, medical expenses and a Christmas for his family.
Please help Ryan if you can! If its 5 cents or $500 every penny counts! If you can’t donate please share and spread this post. Maybe someone you know also knows someone that has been diagnosed with this disease and would be able to help. The sooner we can help Ryan with his fight the sooner he will be able to take his mind off the worries that come around this time of year and really focus on kicking cancer’s ass.
We will be having a benefit for Ryan sometime in February. We will have an exact date in the coming weeks. If you have any items that you would like to donate for the auction that would also be greatly appreciated. Please message me with any benefit donations.
We will be creating shirts and hoody’s that will be for sale at the benefit. The design will be posted sometime this week. If you would like a certain amount or size please contact me and I will add it to our order.
Finally I will close with this, to my brother who is fighting the biggest fight of his life.
What Cancer cannot do: cancer can’t shatter hope, cancer can’t take away your laughter, cancer can’t conquer your spirit, cancer can’t corrode your faith, cancer can’t destroy your confidence, and it cannot silence your courage!
I know you’re having days that seem to be unbearable with so much pain that you can’t even sleep at night. I want you to know every morning you do wake and you take on that day that no one ever wants to face, know you’re not alone I will always be here for you and your family. Not only me but Mom, Dad, Beav and pretty much everyone you know is here to help you win this fight. So keep fighting your ass off, stay Velazquez Strong and before you know it you’re going to have those long locks again!
You are the toughest S.O.B. I know. You’ve never lost fight and you WILL NOT lose this one! I love you and God Bless.
Your Illness doesn’t define you. Your Strength and Courage does.
