Help Ryan's family overcome medical expenses
Donation protected
In early September, one of my closest friends, Ryan, and his family received a devastating and unexpected diagnosis from a routine eye exam: a cancerous tumor within his right eye that will require immediate surgery.
Ryan and his wife, Nicole, are parents to three beautiful young children (2, 4, and 8), and both are already working extremely hard just to get by and provide for their family.
The unexpected costs of specialists' visits in NYC, out-of-pocket medical costs for surgeries, tests, and hospital stays, and the loss of income from both of them having to take off work for various treatments and recovery periods have already made day-to-day life a struggle, and they are quickly falling into debt.
Even with treatment, there is still the chance of partial or complete vision loss in the eye, which would require a complete lifestyle change for their entire family.
I ask if you would please consider helping Ryan and his family during these difficult times. The holidays are coming up, and I know that many of us are thinking about our own families and the things that we are grateful for. But this year, Ryan and his family need our help more than ever.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Your donation will help Ryan and his family to cover the costs of medical care, living expenses, and other unforeseen expenses. It will also help to reduce the stress of this difficult time, so that Ryan can focus on his health and his family.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
