Help Ryan & family after his surgery

Hi my name is Nicole Coolidge & this is a difficult thing for me to have to do. My husband Ryan is the hardest working, dependable man I have ever known. Ryan had to have emergency surgery the day before thanksgiving. He had a blockage that had been causing his urine to back up into his kidneys and they started to shut down. The blockage was most likely scar tissue. They are unsure of the exact cause. They have gone in to balloon up the area in hopes to open the passage. They will keep a catheter in for a few weeks so that he heals with a bigger opening and also give his bladder and kidneys a break. Of all the terrifying things this could have been I’m incredibly thankful this was the outcome. Also that his surgery went well with no complications. Ryan will speak to his employer Monday but with the type of work he does it is unlikely he’ll be able to return for at least a couple weeks. Unfortunately, like many families, we more often than not live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have a huge savings. With the possibility of uncovered medical expenses, reoccurring bills, and Christmas coming up I’m feeling pretty useless and helpless. If Ryan didn’t need my help here at home and with the kids I would go out and work a seasonal job or something to help get us by. I appreciate everyone who has offered or has helped to watch the kids, bring us food and sent healing vibes and prayers. I know this temporary and together we will get through this. I love you all and it really does take a village and I’m so grateful for mine
