Ryan's Brain Cancer Care Fundraiser

From Ryan's sister, Katelyn:
"Fish Guy Ry is in an unexpected battle for his life and needs your help.
I will never forget the day that my brother, my Ry bread, called me and shared that he was experiencing persistent and severe head and neck pain and shockingly that he was struggling to read and comprehend. As a medical professional and his sister, I was stunned and terrified and recommended he go to the ER.
Ryan and his wife, Christina, now find themselves in a battle for Ryan's life and asking themselves, "What does it cost to save a life!?"
It has been a chaotic journey with specialist visits at Strong Memorial Hospital and The Wilmot Cancer Institute, brain surgery and finally a diagnosis, Astrocytoma, Grade III.
Ryan is a Coast Guard veteran. He is strong and has a "Let's Go!" attitude that has carried him through brain surgery, successfully removing 90% of the golf ball sized tumor threatening his life. Then he and Christina traveled over 40 miles every day for 33 radiation therapy treatments, and now chemotherapy.
Unsure of the future, Ryan and Christina stay positive every day! Ryan has regained the abilities he lost after surgery through diligent therapy and exercises. He has returned to work doing pond and lake management where he is a huge advocate for using natural products and promoting sustainable aquatic ecosystems for future generations.
Ryan currently faces a long road of continued chemotherapy, testing and specialist visits as he battles aggressive brain cancer, he knows he can beat this with your help!
Ryan and Christina are working diligently. Unfortunately, with the cost of living steadily increasing and medical bills coming daily Ryan and Christina find themselves in financial constraints. If you'd like to support Ryan and Christina please donate through GoFundMe! 100% of your generous donation will go toward Ryan's medical costs and travel expenses.
Ryan, Christina and their families thank you for your support, love, and prayers over the course of Ryan's treatment and for the future.
Katelyn"
