Ryan LaSource & Family

My brother Adrian and I have created this page to help raise money for the LaSource family due to the recent news about little Ryan's relapse with Leukemia.

You may or may not know the story of this little boy and his wonderful family. If you don't I encourage you to read more about it here on their support page for Ryan on Facebook

You can also read about his story on the LaSource families blog that can really give you insight into what he's been through at such a young age.

I can't imagine having a child diagnosed with such a terrible disease at only 5 and a half months old, but if I did I could only hope God would give me the strength to do what Ryan's parents have been able to do thus far.

Our family has known Austin (Ryan's father) for many years, although I personally haven't seen Austin in quite some time. I've followed their families story on Facebook and am in awe at not only what they have been through, but also how they have taken every step, be it backwards or forwards, and tackled it head on.

At one point while Ryan was being treated with chemotherapy I know Austin and his wife Lauren lived in the hospital for months.
Now with Ryan's recent relapse of AML they will undoubtably end up having to do this all over again.

Take a step back for a second on think about something...

What would happen to your world if you had to STOP LIFE immediately to take on something like this? Even if your medical bills were paid for.... that doesn't mean anyone's going to pay for your house, food, car and so many other things we simply don't think about when we see things like this....

Imagine the ultimate stress of all.... Dealing with round 2 of such a terrible disease with your little boy AND having to worry about "bills". It doesn't seem fair to have to be stressed about money when you're literally fighting to save your son's life.

The LaSource family has no clue we set this page up, however, I am sure they will see this soon enough. Our goal is to raise money to help their family have the one thing they need more than anything right now...

The ability to focus on their son and his fight against AML.... and not on their house payment, work and other frivilous things that really shouldn't matter all at a time like this...

... but they have to matter right? Because when this little guy gets through this and beats AML again.... he's going to want to go HOME..... and he going to want all of his things, surroundings and things that comfort him. So the LaSource family can't just let it all go... and focus on Ryan and his fight...

Our goal is to give them that gift... and we need your help.

Adrian and I are going to match every donation made here by you dollar for dollar.

If you donate $50 so will we....
If you donate $100 we will do the same...

If we raise $5,000 here (which is our goal) the LaSource family will recieve an additional $5,000 from us.... It's pretty simple.

But we need your help.

Make a donation of any amount... and then share this, tweet it, post it everywhere you can find..... and don't do it just once. Do it once a day. Bring awareness to this page..... and we can bring a little peace to their lives.....

And the ultimate gift for them right now.... The ability to just focus on their little boy.
