Ryan Wilson's Road to Recovery

Donation protected

Ryan was in a bad motorcycle accident on January 2, 2015 while on a family vacation in Dumont. He was airlifted from the scene of the accident and brought to UMC hospital. He suffered injuries to his lumbar in his lower back which required surgery and they also found a major artery had been torn. He is now in need of a second surgery after discovering that there is still bone fragment in his spine which may be causing the lack of feeling in his right leg. Currently Ryan has no feeling in his left leg.

Prior to his accident Ryan was a very active young man, he enjoyed riding his dirt bike and racing BMX.  As you can imagine Ryan is very scared he will no longer be able to participate in the activities he loves to do.

We have made this go fund me account to help his parents with the medical expenses in the days to come since Ryan does not have medical insurance. He has a long recovery ahead of him with medication and months of physical therapy. Ryan is only 19 years old and very worried about how his parents are going to handle this and how he himself will get through this tough time. If you are unable to donate at this time we understand, and ask you to spread the word by #PrayforRyan.

No donation is too small and we thank you in advance for the help! Anything helps! Thank you very much.
