Ryan's Soccer Shelter Eagle Project
Donation protected
I am raising money for my Eagle Scout project. My project is to build two identical shelters at my high school's varsity soccer field. Currently when we play we are sitting under a pop up tent. These permanent shelters will protect the players and their supplies from the elements.
The shelters will be 24 ft long and 14 ft wide. They will be constructed mostly out of pressure treated lumber as well as a plywood roof clad with rolls of poly glass shingling and siding made out of rough sawn white oak.
Ideally I would like to begin construction as soon as possible so that the shelters will be ready for the upcoming soccer season starting in September.
