In October, 2018,  I was admitted into the hospital for abdominal pain where testing revealed a large mass on my pancreas. My journey has included three different hospitals, multiple biopsy procedures, and lots of testing. Because of the tumor size, location, and great difficulty of obtaining an accurate diagnosis, I was referred to see a well known surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN that specializes in this.

I've traveled to Mayo multiple times since the beginning of December. On January 4th, 2019, I underwent  a major operation called the Whipple procedure to remove the tumor.  I spent a month in the hospital recovering from this procedure and an experienced an unexpected complication that delayed my recovery.  I've returned home and will be recovering for the next few months before I can return to work.  My medical and travel expenses have been adding up quickly and this is why I'm seeking your help.

This campaign will help raise funds to reduce the costly medical and travel expenses I've incurred throughout my journey.  Any donation will help me and my family through this difficult time.
