On a recent family afternoon outing. Our son was Enjoying the Freedom and Joy of his New E-Board in our Apt Complex.
After hours of fun cruising and a visit from the local ice cream truck. We were all headed home to starting cooking dinner. Ryan asked "Can I take it around the block one more time!?" Of course being a holiday we said yes. He cruised around the street with a smile on his face and on his way back towards home is when disaster struck. In a Flash we see a sight of Flailing and he Fell hard onto the Pavement when his blood curdling screams erupted from his chest. He couldn't move his right leg and was in Tremendous Pain. Immediately we knew he needed medical attention. We lifted him up as carefully as we could and rushed him to the ER. To Date... he has spent 2 days in the Trauma Section and has had Surgery with Rods and Pins to support and align his Femur Leg Break during healing and Physical Therapy. He will Remain at least one more night at the Hospital for observation. We are unsure as to the total of the bill at this time, but knowing what surgery and physical therapy cost, we expect it to be substantial.
