On August 10, 2020, Ryan Wolford went to be with the Lord he loved, leaving behind his wife, Cindy; sons Kyle and Brock; daughter Ryan Nicole; daughter-in-law, Katie and grandson, Luke.
Ryan spent his last years serving God as a pastor of Firestone Church in Gastonia, NC, taking care of the needs of many. His life was one of giving to others. He loved large.
Many have asked what they can do to help. With all the emotional pain and stress a death brings, it also brings financial burden. We are trying to raise money for Cindy and their children to help with any costs that will incur and to help wherever needed in the days ahead. Our goal is to raise $65,000.
Hello family and friends. Per go fund me e-mail guidance to me recently, I am updating this page to include the following information to ensure transparency: I am personally withdrawing and handling the funds that have been donated, my plan is to deliver the funds to Cindy Wolford. I (in Orlando) have opened up a checking account in my name specifically to hold the funds raised with this campaign. Cindy is going to go to the bank (in Charlotte) to be added to the checking account. The plan is for anyone doing improvements to their home to provide me with an invoice and then I will mail them a check. The Wolford family (in Orlando) is going to coordinate home repair efforts with Cindy (in SC) and those that will be doing the work.
