Ryan Timothy Medical Bill Fundraiser

A group of us (family and friends) are asking for your help to assist Bev, Dave, Ryan and Haylee through a financially and physically difficult time after a horrible swimming accident that Ryan had a little over a week ago. Ryan broke the C5 vertebrae in his spine. He is currently in the Surgical ICU at Metrohealth Hospital. He started out at Hillcrest Hospital where he had spinal surgery to repair the break. Surgery went very well. Unfortunately, at this time Ryan has no below the chest body function and no finger function. He does have some arm and slight hand function and is getting those stronger every day. He is coherent and in good spirits (most of the time). Due to this injury and surgery, Ryan has developed some breathing and lung issues. It’s up and down and he is currently going through respiratory therapy. Once he is able to get that issue stable, he will be transferred to Metrohealth Rehab Center where he will begin a very long journey to get back to his old self. Ryan is a fighter and tougher than this and will not be held back! He’s got this!!

That said Mom and Haylee have been by his side almost 24/7 and will continue to be there as much as possible and allowable. Dave has been running back and forth from the hospital and home to keep them comfy and confident and hopeful.

A lot of people have asked how they can help and we can’t believe the overwhelming out pouring of love and support so thought this would be one way for all of us to show our support. This recovery is gonna be a long process and loads of medical bills not to mention time off work for all of them but especially Ryan. Please consider any type of donation to help them thru this and maybe alleviate some financial stress and burden for them. Every little bit helps this amazing family!
