My son, Ryan Siless is 22 years old and after graduating college in NY, he headed out to California to pursue his career and his passion in environmental conservation.
Last night, Ryan's twenty year old car was broken into and everything was stolen. This may not seem an extreme emergency, except that his life was in the car.
He had just gotten to San Francisco and had not found a place to live. San Fran is very expensive and he planned on using his camping field gear until he could find a place that he could afford. But the gear is gone, as are his clothing, his food, his instruments, and all of his personal and sentimental possessions. He is alone, has no where to live at this point, nothing except the cothes on his back, and a car in immediate need of repair.
I humbly come to our friends and family for assistance in helping Ryan get his life back on course. He lives minimally, so it should not take too much, but all of the little things add up.
Expenses will include:
Car Repairs: $1000
Shoes and Clothing: $600
Field/Camping Gear: $900
Everyday items, such as electronics, bedding, and toiletries: $1000
As many of you know, Ryan's first love has always been music. If there is anything extra, replacing his guitar would mean the world to him.
This Go Fund Me account will not only help Ryan stay in CA, but it will alleviate the financial burden of rebuilding his life there. Ryan would give the shirt off his back to anyone (even the last shirt on his back)and said of the stolen food, "It's OK, they must have really needed it."
