Ryan Scott Brighton & London Marathon 2025

In 2025 I am running both the Brighton & London marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Paul.

Not only is it a fantastic cause to raise money for, it is one which unfortunately come close to home for us as a family.

When Paul was diagnosed in 2023 Macmillan were outstanding throughout his cancer battle and journey. Therefore it is only right that I run the 52.4 miles for them.

Those of you who personally know me know that our relationship was a solidified brotherhood. Paul was not only my brother, he was my best mate and someone who I looked up to for as long as I can remember.

Even despite multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and enough bad news to sink a ship, he took it all in his stride and refused to bow down to the awful disease which serves no purpose in life. He put up a fight until the very end and he made us so proud as a family.

Pauls courage, determination, fight, positivity, strength and will power was nothing short of admirable and inspired me to run the marathons next year.

I will be extremely grateful for anything donated and I would appreciate if you could share this far and wide for me.
