We want to thank all those who donated to this fund raiser. We are no longer taking donations as we have met our initial goal. We will continue to fund raise offline to work toward helping students like Ryan to achieve their academic goals.

We sadly announce the passing of Ryan Michael Walker on October 9, 2025, at age 37, surrounded by his family. Ryan was a light in our lives, remembered for his boundless kindness, generous spirit, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him.

Ryan was a life long learner. He was a 2006 graduate of Wadsworth High School. He held degrees from Kent State University, Florida State University and Miami University. He was passionate about history, economics, and public policy.

This GoFundMe has been created to establish a scholarship in his name - a lasting way to carry forward his memory and the love he shared with so many. This annual scholarship will go to a deserving student at Wadsworth High School.
