Hello, I'm Marty McGuire. Friends, family and generous donors like you are raising funds to support Ryan McGuire's (22) quest to be the youngest Special Olympian to finish the Abbott Six World Major Marathons.

Ryan began running Cross Country at age 15 for his high school, needing assistance from a para-professional to stay the course. He finished races 4-5 minutes behind the second to last finisher.

Training hard, he steadily and dramatically improved to run a sub-5 minute mile by his Junior year. He ran to a 16:30, 3-mile senior year conference time.

Ryan then trained for and ran the Chicago Marathon for 3 years, improving by 19.5 minutes in his last two outings. He finished in the top 3.6% of the 49,000 runners with a time of 2:52:57 in '23.

With your help, he is now on to London April 21, 2024; New York, Fall 2024; Boston, Spring 2025; Berlin, Fall 2025; Tokyo, Spring 2026.
