Ryan Maker, 37.

With his childhood sweetheart for 19 years, Kerri-Anne, a Teaching Assistant at Grampound Road Primary School and married for 10 years.

Ryan had lived in Grampound Road all of his life. He played football for Grampound FC and coached Trispen to an outstanding season. More recently Ryan coached the Truro U7’s football team and set up the hugely successful Grampound Road Under 9 and Under 10 teams.

Most weekends would see Ryan ferrying players around the county and offering words of encouragement.

Ryan worked as the Plant and Fleet Coordinator for CORMAC.

On Friday 23rd of December Ryan unexpectedly passed away.

He leaves behind Kerri-Anne and their children, Ellie 12, Jake 10, Danny 8, and Lowena 3.

Ryan was a keen, caring member of our village community.

He was always one of the first to man a bbq at a school event and help wherever he was needed.

Ryan’s friends and community want to raise £4000 to help Kerri-Anne and her children.
