It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of our beloved Ryan Mackinnon. On Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, Ryan was involved in a tragic work accident that changed everything in an instant. Despite the best efforts of medical staff and the immense strength Ryan showed, he passed away on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, after fighting courageously in the hospital for two days.

Ryan was more than a father, son, brother, friend, and colleague — he was the light in every room. His presence made life warmer, funnier, and more meaningful — and let’s not forget, he brought just the right amount of drama. But above all, Ryan had a big heart. He gave so much of himself to the people he loved, always showing up with generosity, humor, and loyalty. His loss leaves a space that can never truly be filled.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden on Ryan’s family during this unimaginable time. The funds raised will support funeral and memorial costs and assist the family as they take time to grieve and begin to heal.
