Update #2 - 1/24/2023
Ryan was able to come home from the hospital on Friday January 13th. This is amazing news, and he is very excited to be home!! He will be working on in home therapy. He still has a long road ahead of him, but is continuing to see progress daily.
Update #1 - 1/11/2023
Things are progressing for Ryan. We are very optimistic and excited about the progress Ryan is making. Ryan has a very long way to go. There have been some very positive things happening. The stroke affected Ryan's right side and his ability to communicate. His right leg is moving pretty well and he has been able to walk slightly with a cane. This is a huge step forward, and very exciting. His right arm is starting to get some movement back in it and hoping it keeps progressing as well. Since the stroke Ryan has been unable to communicate. He has constantly been doing speech therapy and still has a long way to go before fully being able to speak, but he is finally able to make basic vowel and consonant sounds. All in all, Ryan is progressing and fighting every day for improvements. Right now Ryan is planning on being able to go home Friday, January 13th. Where he will be starting at-home therapy. We cannot thank everyone enough for the donations, thoughts, prayers, and help! Let's keep this going for Ryan and continue to show him our support!!
Our amazing friend, brother, and dad can use our help. Anyone who knows Ryan knows how amazing and special he is. Ryan is the type of guy that loves everyone, is always positive, works hard, helps out whenever and wherever he can, and just gets things done! Right now Ryan is needing us to be there for him and help him out. Ryan suffered a massive stroke on Dec 15th, 2022 and has been in the hospital since. Gratefully he is pulling through and making progress. He has a very very long road of recovery ahead of him. With the very long road of therapy, and recovery he can use some help out with medical bills that are adding up daily, along with being out of work. Let's show Ryan how much he means to all of us!! Thank You!
